VOLUNTEER

Volunteers are just ordinary people with extraordinary hearts. They offer the gift of their time to teach, to listen, to help, to inspire, to build, to grow, to learn. They expect no pay yet the value of their work knows no limit. They’ve known the unexpected joy of a simple hug. They planted tiny seeds of love in countless lives. Volunteers are just ordinary people who reach out and take a hand and together make a difference that lasts a lifetime.”

C.A.R.E. rely on community of passionate volunteers and animal lovers who are committed in helping us advocate the animal welfare cause and to help us in caring animals who are sick and injured. Our shelter is short on staff to help exercise and socialize our animals. If you are good with dogs, we are very much happy to welcome you to drop by and take our dog for a walk or if you are a cat lover you can pet, play and interact with them to get ready for a new home. We believe that play time has huge psychological and physical benefits for our waiting animals.

We welcome volunteers at C.A.R.E. Animal Shelter and join us as we work together on behalf of those so dependent on us for their well-being.

How Could You Help?

Animal Care: Help in cleaning the animal areas in the shelter, help in feeding, bathing, medication and basic grooming as needed, walk the dogs and or /puppies, socialize with the cats/kittens by petting them. Help and support in adoption process.

Education: Help out in spreading the word about C.A.R.E. Animal Rescue Efforts and animals for adoptions by campaigning, designing flyers and brochures to be given out or distributed in barangay, schools, veterinary clinics, city government and various organisations that support animal welfare to create awareness regarding issues such as responsible pet ownership; pet handling and safety.

Fund Raising: Help out in organising events and activities  to raise funds for the shelter.
